Are you tired of singing the same songs every week? Do you still not know the words to any of them despite the fact that you are a GM? Do you wish there were hash songs that spoke to your particular shade of the rainbow? Now’s your chance to write your own!
Pick any tune you want (existing or new) and write a new hash song to perform in Circle. Because hashers are simple people, simple melodies tend to have more staying power than a 10-minute freestyle rap, but hey, you do you. If you can’t make trail, feel free to send your song to a stunt singer to perform it for you. The winner is anyone whose song joins our permanent repertoire.
BONUS CHALLENGE THIS YEAR
This year, we’re taking the Voodoo’s temperature to see whether we want a new kennel song. We will only adopt a new song if the majority like it more than the current song.
Anyone can propose a brand-new kennel song or revise the lyrics to our current song, Voodoo Hash.
Either way, email the lyrics and a video of you or a stunt singer performing it to voodoohash@gmail.com.
MisManagement will pick up to three good new songs and post them, along with a video of the current kennel song which will also be in the running. Anyone who has hashed 10 times with Voodoo since 1/1/23 will be able to vote among the four. We will announce the winner at trail on May 2nd.
